SUFFOLK'S FIRST NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPION

On his way to winning the 2008 National Cross Country Under 15 Boys title at Alton

Towers on 23rd February is number 288, Shaun Webb of Ipswich Harriers. Webb, 

who is coached by Steve Benson, followed his victory on 26th January in the South 

of England Championship, on Hamstead Heath, with an impressive first place in the 

National Championships. Benson has coached many fine athletes but Webb is the 

first to collect the coveted title of National Champion.
