ENDURANCE OFFICIALS

URGENT

ANNUAL RETURNS

It is essential that Endurance Officials send their completed log sheets to Joe Mower as soon as possible. The new grading system will come into force in January and to ensure the correct grading, Joe needs to have the most up tom date list of officials' duties.

Development update November 2010

Endurance development work is developing albeit slowly
December will see the second batch of Level 2 Training for new tutors
On the same day there will be a pilot RA course for the new Tutors.
The new courses will be rolled out in the new year.
We  now  have some key positions filled - Nick Folwell is the Tri-regional Endurance Secretary for the South - he is supported by a Peer Group of Chris Harbord, Martin Howard and Graham Jessop.
Volunteers are being sort from County Officials to act as the Endurance COFFSECs - response has been good but we still have some gaps - in particularly we have a vacancy in Hertfordshire
Duty sheets are coming in slowly - contact points are on the web site but if in doubt they can be sent to Nick Folwell
The Endurance Year is 1st September to 31st of August.
An Endurance Section is being developed on the Officials' Section of the EA web site
Re-alignment notification for Endurance Officials together with the new licences start in January 2011. All Endurance Officials should  have received a letter in October explaining the process.
Currently the data base of Endurance Officials is being cleaned up to ensure duplicate entries and non active officials are removed.
An appeals process will be open from January to March 2011.
I am happy to be a point of contact for any Endurance matters as the Endurance Officials Coordinator for England.
